The episode starts with Kannamma helping Bhagya to massage her leg. Shanthi says to her that she is massaging like a physiotherapist. How did she learn this? Kannamma tells her that she learnt it in jail. Shanthi asks her, didn’t she grow up in an orphanage? Kannamma regrets blabbering the truth. She tells her that the orphanage is strict. They won’t allow the children to go out and watch movies. So everyone used to mention it as jail. That’s why she mentioned it like that. Bhagya asks her not to leave her. Kannamma assures her to stay with her.
Later, Shanthi serves food to Shanmugam. Kannamma was about to serve food to him but he stopped her. He demands Shanthi serve. Kannamma feels hurt to see his ignorance. Shanthi informs him that she gave Akhil’s room to Kannamma. Shanthi asks him to give money to buy food items. She adds that it’s time to pay the electricity bill. Shanmugam tells her that he doesn’t have enough money with him. He assures her to manage the situation. Kannamma wishes to give her savings to them. She collects the money she earned in jail and gives it to Shanthi. Shanmugam lashes out at her for helping him. He tells her that he used to take care of this family. He will do it but he doesn’t need her help.
Shanthi tells him that Kannamma wishes to help them. Why is he scolding her unnecessary? Shanmugam says that they were in this state because of her. If she hadn’t killed Krishna and eloped from this village. Bhagya wouldn’t have fallen sick. He shouldn’t have wasted his savings on her treatment either. He even sold the jewels he saved for Shanthi’s marriage for her treatment. He fails to give his hand to a suitable person. Her brother Akhil was good for nothing. He was adamant about buying a new bike at this young age. He was adamant about studying at university. He spent money on his education but he isn’t doing any work. Kannamma is the reason for everything. Neither did Bhagya get well, nor Shanthi get married. He adds that villagers said that Shanmugam and Bhagya were happy with her return but Krishna’s family were not happy. Later, Chithra stares at Kannamma’s picture. She shares her grief with her. She thanked her for giving a new identity and relatives to her. She shares with Kannamma what happened there. She assures Kannamma to change everything in this house and fulfill their desires from her place.
Later, Akhil returns home late at night. Kannamma notices him changing dress. She recalls her past and shouts in fear. Shanthi comes there and inquires her what happened? Akhil narrated everything to her. Shanmugam says that her behaviour isn’t giving good vibes to him. Shanthi asks Akhil to sleep in another room. Next day, Kannamma finishes her morning Pooja. Kannamma gives morning tea to Shanmugam. She tries to wake up Akhil but he lashes out at her. Shanmugam keeps close watch on Kannamma. He changed his opinion on Kannamma after seeing her care for Bhagya. Shanthi criticizes Shanmugam for lashing out at Kannamma.
