By Gossips Tv : In a surprising development for fans, Bigg Boss OTT 4 has officially been scrapped for 2025. The makers of the show have decided to forego the digital version this year to focus entirely on Bigg Boss 19, which promises to be the longest and most dramatic season yet.
Bigg Boss OTT, introduced in 2021, quickly gained popularity as a digital spin-off of the main television show. It streamed on JioCinema and gained a loyal fanbase for its uncensored format, fast-paced content, and distinct vibe. With its own set of contestants and drama, the OTT edition became a major hit. The winners of the first three OTT seasons were Divya Agarwal (Season 1), Elvish Yadav (Season 2), and Sana Makbul (Season 3), each gaining massive popularity post their victories.
However, in 2025, producers have shifted strategy. The goal now is to channel all efforts and excitement into Bigg Boss 19, which is set to stream from July 30, 2025, to January 2026—spanning a record 5.5 months.
This extended format is a significant change from previous seasons and aims to keep audiences hooked for a longer period. Salman Khan, the face of the franchise since Season 4, returns as host, bringing his signature blend of humor, honesty, and entertainment.
While the absence of Bigg Boss OTT 4 may disappoint its dedicated viewers, the makers are betting big on Bigg Boss 19 to deliver unmatched drama, twists, and high-voltage entertainment in the months to come. The makers started to finalize celebrities from various genres including actors, gamers, Youtubers, influencers and so on. Stay tuned for more details.
