Chashni set to go off air
‘Chashni’, which premiered on March 9, 2023, is rating only around 0.9, which is very slow for Star Plus and has reportedly fallen under the scanner.
Now rumours suggest that the show could be on its way out after the current season if IPL 2023.
Given the idea that a younger sister becomes her elder sister’s saas, the show was always controversial. Perhaps Star Plus hoped that the shock factor would generate TRP, but failed.
Sources claim that the creatives tried to turn things around by adding a leap, but when nothing changed, the channel may have chosen to cut their losses and scrap the show.
Star Plus has not made an official announcement about Chashni bidding adieu to the viewers. The show starring Sai Ketan Rao, Amandeep Sidhu and Srishti Singh was launched on March 9, 2023 at 11PM.
