The episode starts with Saradha asking Nandhini to light the lamp. Nandhini asks Deeba, Saradha’s favorite daughter-in-law to light the lamp. Kalai tells that Nandhini should apologize to them. Saradha asks Kalai to leave the matter. Nandhini says they should also apologize to her.
Shanmugam asks her to leave as there is Puja in the house. Nandhini taunts Saradha. Her dad tries to stop her in vain. Saradha says to Nandhini she needn’t to apologize as she didn’t do anything wrong. She says that Anbu started drinking since she went to her dad’s house and asks her to change him.
Saradha asks her to light the lamp praying for Anbu. Nandhini refuses. Deeba questions Nandhini she doesn’t love Anbu. Nandhini says she loves Anbu but not his family. She will separate Anbu from them and she will light the lamp in her own house. Deeba’s daughter calls her ‘Chithi’ and requests her to light the lamp. Nandhini tells the kid to not call her ‘chithi’ as she hates that word. Nandhini’s dad scolds Nandhini for being insolent with her in-laws.
Saradha does the puja while Nandhini, in her room, apologizes to God for not lighting the lamp and says she doesn’t like anyone in this house and will do puja in her house with Anbu.
Shanmugam says to Nandhini’s dad that he is happy that he came today. Nandhini’s dad says he is ashamed for her daughter insolent behavior towards them. Deeba says her in-laws will never misunderstand Nandhini. Saradha says Anbu loves her a lot and for him she can do anything. Nandhini’s dad thanks them.
He calls Nandhini and says she is lucky to get such nice in-laws and gives her some piece of mind. He warns her that she won’t see him alive if she once again leave her in-laws and comes back to her house.
Nandhini’s dad asks Saradha to forgive his daughter’s behavior. He says she was brought up without a mother, so she didn’t know how to treat her in laws. Saradha assures him Nandhini is like her daughter and she will take care of her.
Shanmugam reveals that this puja is organized for Anbu and Nandhini’s reunion and Saradha will do fasting. Nandhini’s dad says that Saradha asked him to do some drama which forces Nandhini to return to her in laws, so he pretended to hang himself. Nandhini overhears them.
Nanadhini stops Saradha and asks why she instigated her dad to attempt sucide, and questions who would take her responsibility if something had happened to her dad. Saradha says she is her responsiblity, she is not alone, her in-laws are with her. Saradha says she has belief that in three months she will change and will start living happily with Anbu in this house.
Nandhini says her dreams will never come true. She won’t give any happiness to Anbu and asks her to tell to Anbu to live separately. Saradha says her son will never leave this house. She challenges Nandhini that in three months, she will lead a happy life with Anbu. Nandhini challenges her back saying in that three months she will separate Anbu from this family.
