The episode starts with Venba checking Ravi’s phone and learning that Ravi contacted Anbu. Venba guessed correctly what would have happened. She says that Anbu would have informed Ravi about their situation and he would have told him that he will transfer mone to help them. Ravi phoned Anbu as he didn’t get money. Nandhini would have received the call and would have scolded him. Ravi is surprised and agrees. Venba says that they have money and tell Ravi and Kavin to come with her. Venba stops on seeing a small Vinayegar temple under a tree. Ravi jokes. Kavin questions Vennila what she is upto. Venba takes out her gold nuptial chain. She says that this gold nuptial chain will help them to come out of the tough situation. Kavin and Ravi oppose to mortgage the nuptial chain. Venba is firm in her decision. She removes her gold nuptial chain then tells Kavin to tie the yellow nuptial thread around her neck. Kavin does so while Ravi throws rose petals over them.
Venba and Kavin pray to God. They hear someone’s voice and goes to that person. it’s turned out a Siddhar. They take his blessings. Siddhar gives them a ring and says that if the rings fit in Venba’s finger their life will be filled with happiness. Venba and Kavin get elated when the ring fits in Venba’s finger. Siddhar blesses them.
Anbu is worried about Venba and Kavin. He prays to God. He says that he considered Venba as his own sister and promised to Chithi to look after Venba, but he failed. He prays to God for Kavin and Venba getting a house for rent. Nandhini hears this and glares at Anbu. Nandhini curses that Venba won’t get any house for rent and argues with Anbu. The latter support Venba and says that Venba never wanted any bad for her. Anbu reminds that this Venba’s house, but she was generous, so she left the house without saying a word and leaves. Nandhini fumes and says that Venba could have got loan to build this house, but now this house belongs to her and she won’t tolerate if Venba claims it as hers.
Venba comes to a mortgage shop to mortgage her nuptial chain. Kavin and Ravi try to change Venba’s mind. Ravi says that he will borrow money from his friends. But Venba is firm in her decision. The money lender says that he can only give sixty thousand. Venba requests him to give eighty thousand. The money lender says that he will charge high intrest to which Venba agrees. He gaves her eighty thousand. Venba thanks him.
