Choo Young Woo And Shin Si Ah To Star In Korean Remake Of “Even If This Love Disappears From The World Tonight”

Young and talented actors Choo Young Woo and Shin Si Ah will be pairing up together for a new film!

Earlier today, the film distributor BY4M Studio announced that actors Choo Young Woo and Shin Si Ah will star as the main leads in the Korean remake of the successful Japanese film “Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight.” The remake will be helmed by director Kim Hye Young, who received critical acclaim for her feature debut film “It’s Okay!

The movie “Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight” is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by author Ichijo Misaki. The film tells the fresh yet heartbreaking love story between a female student suffering from anterograde amnesia, whose memories reset every time she wakes up, and an ordinary male student living a boring and uneventful life. The Japanese version of the film was released in 2022 and attracted about 1.21 million moviegoers in Korea, becoming a box office hit.

Choo Young Woo who has impressed the viewers with his stellar performance in hit dramas “The Tale Of Lady Ok,” “School 2021,” “The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call,” “Mercy For None” and more, will take on the role of Kim Jae Won, an ordinary student who lives each day as it passes without any goal in life. After meeting Han Seo Yoon a fellow student who is his complete opposite in nature, he gradually begins to change .Choo Young Woo who is currently entertaining the audience with his performance in the ongoing drama “Head Over Heels” expressed his excitement, saying, “I really enjoyed both the original novel and the film, so I definitely wanted to be a part of this project. I’ve been looking forward to it ever since I received the offer, and I really want to do a great job.”

Shin Si Ah of “Resident Playbook” fame will portray Han Seo Yoon, a girl who suffers from anterograde amnesia but tries to live each day without regret with her playful and optimistic nature. Ahead of filming, Shin Si Ah shared her thoughts  saying, “As a fan of the original novel, I’m so happy and thrilled to be able to play a character from a project I love. I will do my very best during filming so that the warmth and sincerity of the story can be conveyed to the audience.”
