The dashing and upcoming actor Choo Young Woo might be starring in a new historical drama that actress Lim Ji Yeon is in talks for!
On November 9, Sources reported that actor Choo Young Woo has received an offer to star in JTBC’s new drama “Tale of Mrs. Ok” (literal title).
In response to the report, Choo Young Woo’s agency J,Wide-Company has confirmed that the actor is currently reviewing the offer to star in the upcoming JTBC drama “Tale of Mrs. Ok.”
“Tale of Mrs. Ok” is an historical drama that depicts the fierce survival and success story of a female slave in the Joseon Dynasty who fakes her name, status, and even her husband. Actress Lim Ji Yeon of “The Glory” fame has been reportedly offered the role of slave Goo Deok, a determined woman who abandons her name and fakes everything to live a new life as a mistress.
Actor Choo Young Woo who has previously impressed the viewers through various roles in dramas including “School 2021”, “Once Upon A Small Town” and “Oasis” , is reportedly offered to play the role of Song Seo In, the son of the prestigious Song family. Song Seo In is a hopeless romantic and reckless in the matters of love, which changes as his life gets entangled with Goo Deok.
