Colors’ Show ‘Megha Barsenge’ to go OFF AIR

By Gossips TV: Colors TV’s emotional drama Megha Barsenge, produced by Saurabh Tewari under the Parin Multimedia banner, is all set to wrap up its journey, with the final episode slated to air on 29 June 2025. Despite its relatively short stint on television, the show carved a niche for itself with a unique storyline and stunning outdoor cinematography.

Featuring Neil Bhatt, Neha Rana, and Kinshuk Mahajan in pivotal roles, the show explored themes of love, betrayal, and redemption. Recently, Megha Barsenge took a bold narrative leap, jumping 10 years into the future. This shift saw Neha Rana portraying Mannu, the daughter of Megha, while Neil Bhatt entered as a fresh lead named Kabir. Kinshuk Mahajan, too, re-entered as the antagonist Manoj, bringing a darker twist to the storyline.

However, despite the creative developments, the show couldn’t maintain steady TRP numbers. A change in time slot further alienated its core audience, leading to a gradual dip in viewership. According to sources, these ratings challenges, coupled with scheduling shifts, ultimately influenced the channel’s decision to pull the plug earlier than anticipated.

As fans prepare to say goodbye, Megha Barsenge remains appreciated for its progressive narrative and layered characters — a show that dared to be different in the daily soap landscape.
