The episode starts with Asmita receives a message from HR department asking her to complete the resignation formalities as it’s her last day. She imagines everyone is welcoming her also praising her contribution to Paper Ink. Asmita smiles. She then realises that it’s her dream only. She goes to her cabin and gets emotional packing her things. Asmita recalls getting award and both Maya and Peter’s praises. Maya watches this from her cabin. Asmita gets sad. She then calls Shauvik and expresses her not feeling good to leave the office also she wishes he was by her side to go through this day.
Shauvik tells her even he wanted the same but due to work he had to leave. He then asks Asmita to take care saying he needs to be in a meeting in few minutes then hangs the call. Asmita tries herself hard not to breaksdown infront of everyone. Shalini comes to Asmita. Her gifts makes Asmita emotional and the latter thanks her. Asmita also expresses her helpless situation as she don’t have any job now. Shalini reminds her that she is an award winning editor so once other publishing house’s learns about her resignation in Paper Ink they will definitely try to hire her for sure. She then suggests to have coffee one last day in the office with her. Asmita agrees.
Anirbhan calls Asmita and informs her that Rizwan wants to meet her to talk about his next book editing. Asmita declines the offer shocking both Rizwan and Anirbhan. Rizwan smirks and says that Asmita is an interesting person. Here Shalini inquires Asmita about the job offer. Asmita tells she declined it as it’s against her principles. Shalini shares with Asmita about their days in this office which makes Asmita happy and emotional. Maya sends Shalini from there reminding her about her work to edit Abhimanyu’s new story.
After Shalini leaves the place Maya asks Asmita to retain her resignation if she wants which surprises the latter. Maya praises Asmita and advices her to reconsider her decision which will benefit both the party. Asmita questions Maya if she can able to stop forcing her to work against her principles with those conditions. Maya tells Asmita that the condition is not her’s but Abhimanyu’s also Asmita knows well that Paper Ink needs Abhimanyu so she is forced to compile Abhimanyu’s condition as Asmita knows well the importance of Paper Ink in her life. Asmita remains stubborn in her decision so Maya suggests her to offer a salary hike or something to make Asmita stay then leaves. Asmita takes her things to washroom and cries hard recalling her moments in the office.
Maya is in a call with someone asking to hire a talented editor in replacement of Asmita. She enters the washroom and fails to see Asmita. Asmita gets shocked hearing Maya’s choice of words against the person in the call. She feels disgusted learning Maya’s double face. Once Maya left the washroom she throws the photo frame of herself getting an award from Maya in the dustbin then gathers her things then leaves the place angrily. Asmita’s mother feels uneasiness in her health which Asmita’s grandmother notices it so the latter decides to do the works and asks her daughter in law to take some rest. Asmita breaksdown infront of her mother and shares her worry how to meets their next month basic needs expresses. Asmita’s mother falls unconscious shocking Asmita and her grandmother.
They both rushes Asmita’s mother to the hospital. Abhimanyu comes to the office where he sees an admin team guy sitting in Asmita’s place and realises Asmita indeed left the job and recalls her conversation with him. He then scolds Shirish and the latter apologises to him then leaves the place taking his things. Asmita and her grandmother feels helpless when Asmita’s mother taken inside for treatment. Here Maya praises Abhimanyu after reading his first chapter. Abhimanyu tells her his plan to complete the second chapter too which makes Maya happy. He then looks at Asmita’s place from his cabin and gets sad.
