By Gossips Tv : Popular television heartthrob Dheeraj Dhoopar, known for his roles in Kundali Bhagya and Sasural Simar Ka, is all set to make his Telugu film debut with Kalavaram. Directed by Balakrishna Katta, the film features Dhoopar in a villainous role, marking his first venture into the South Indian film industry.
Currently in Hyderabad for the shoot, Dhoopar is excited about his Tollywood debut. He shared his admiration for Telugu cinema, stating that it had always been on his radar, but he was waiting for the right opportunity. Playing a negative role in Kalavaram, he finds the experience unique, especially with the industry’s on-set culture of referring to actors as ‘villain’ for antagonists and ‘hero’ for protagonists.
Despite facing a language barrier, the actor is determined to learn Telugu and fully immerse himself in the industry. He also expressed his eagerness to explore Hyderabad’s famous food scene, particularly the city’s iconic biryani.
Reflecting on his journey, Dhoopar emphasized that his success didn’t come overnight, as it took him 16 years to reach this stage. While some actors achieve fame quickly, he values every step of his long and dedicated journey. With Kalavaram, he is ready to embrace a new chapter in his career.
