The episode starts with Maan seeing that Doree is asleep and she hasn’t heard a word about his feelings that he said just now. Rajnandini is shown to have eavesdropped on what Maan said. Rajnandini thinks why has Maan said that his relationship with Doree is just on paper. Rajnandini decides to find out about it.
Maan sees Doree is falling off. Maan puts Doree’s head over his shoulder and allows her to sleep on his shoulder.
Kavya comes Kelo( Maan’s junior lawyer) and flirts with him. Kavya says to Kelo that she loves him and they should celebrate. Kavya makes Kelo drink alcohol. Kavya later questions Kelo if there is any secret in between Maan and Doree. Kelo says yes. Kavya asks Kelo to tell her. Kelo doesn’t agree. Kavya later insists Kelo to tell her and he agrees.
A bee comes and stings Maan but he still doesn’t move his hand as Doree is sleeping on his shoulder and she will wake up if he moves.
Kavya asks Kelo what nonsense is he speaking and asks Kelo if he doesn’t trust her. Kelo says to Kavya that he trusts her and he later says to Kavya that Maan and Doree’s marriage is just a contract. Kelo later falls asleep. Kavya passes this information to Rajnandini. Rajnandini thinks Maan and Doree have done contract marriage.
Rajnandini searches for Doree and Maan’s contract marriage papers.
Doree wakes up from Maan’s hand on her and notices they slept on the sofa all night. She wonders why he didn’t wake her up. She wakes Maan and asks him about it. Noticing an injury on his hand, she asks what happened. Maan replies that it’s just a bee sting and he didn’t wake her because she was sleeping peacefully. Doree asks why he endured the pain for her. Maan simply says it’s nothing. Doree, concerned, says she doesn’t know what stung his hand. Maan reassures her that he’ll find out and tells her not to worry. Meanwhile, Rajnandini, hearing their voices, hides inside a cupboard.
Maan tells Doree that he didn’t wake her because he didn’t want to disturb her and that he knows she dreams about him. Doree asks him to sit and says she doesn’t understand why he keeps putting himself through pain for her. She applies ointment to his hand. Maan asks why she looks so worried. Doree replies that she can’t bear to see her loved ones in pain. He smiles. Doree curiously asks why he is smiling. Maan thinks to himself that she’ll be truly happy once her father is released from jail, and he won’t let that smile disappear. He leaves the room, and Doree follows. Rajnandini, still hiding, wonders what contract they were talking about. She’s irritated by their growing closeness and fears what might happen if Ganga Prasad gets released from jail.
Meanwhile, at the police station, a constable releases Ganga Prasad, informing him that he’s been granted bail. Ganga is overjoyed and decides to meet his daughter.
Later, Doree asks Dadi what’s special today. Dadi tells her that it’s Akshaya Tritiya and instructs her to perform the pooja as a couple and to give the “Shubhi” to Pushpa. Doree gives it to Pushpa, but accidentally, her mangalsutra falls into the havan. Maan quickly saves it, burning his hand in the process. Doree immediately places his hand in ice. The family members call it inauspicious. But Maan says he’s here to make everything auspicious. Doree is surprised by his words.
Just then, the lawyer arrives. Dadi announces that Shubhi will officially be joined to the family and since Doree is already a part of the family, she will be legally included as well. But Rajnandini interrupts and questions whether someone who is in a contractual marriage for just a few months should be given a share in the property. She then hands over the contract papers to the lawyer. Doree and Maan are left shocked.
