The episode starts with Aarambhi standing on the railing, recalling Vishwas’s betrayal and his attempt to steal Vihaan from her. Aarambhi screams in pain. She says to herself that a woman not only gives birth to a child, but the child also gives birth to a mother. Aarambhi thinks that she cannot live without her son and feels it would be better to end her life.
Vihaan enters Aarambhi’s room but does not find her there.
Radhika comes to the terrace and finds Aarambhi standing on the railing. She asks Aarambhi what she is doing. Aarambhi tells Radhika that she is trying to find the meaning of her existence. Radhika asks her to come down and tells her that she knows Aarambhi is upset because Vishwas did not give his kidney to her. Radhika comments on it. Aarambhi comes down from the railing, hugs Radhika, and opens up to her about Vishwas’s betrayal. She tells Radhika that she was always right about Vishwas.
Manju thanks Vishwas for arranging the kidney donor for Aarambhi. Arun also thanks him, believing that Vishwas arranged the donor. Manju and Arun ask Vishwas not to mind Balbir’s words and then leave. Avantika witnesses all of this.
Aarambhi tells Radhika that when she first went to college, everyone mocked her because she came from a government school. She says that she once stood on the terrace railing like this and screamed. Aarambhi says that from the terrace, the world looked very small. Later, she went to the dean and told him that she would study extra hard if the lecturers felt she was not worthy. She says she proved herself by becoming the topper in the first semester. Aarambhi adds that she never looked back after that and completed her studies with a gold medal. Radhika proudly says that this is her Aarambhi. Aarambhi says she made a mistake by ending her journey there when she married Vishwas, who asked her to leave her job. She tells Radhika that Vishwas did not ask her to quit out of care, but to make her dependent on him.
Aarambhi tells Radhika that if Vishwas leaves her now, society will assume that something is wrong with her. She says that this is how society thinks — when a marriage fails, the woman is blamed, not the man. Radhika encourages Aarambhi to fight Vishwas in court and expose his affair. Aarambhi says she does not have the money to go to court. Radhika offers to help her financially, but Aarambhi says that even then, she does not have enough money to raise Vihaan. Radhika asks Aarambhi if she will still go back to Vishwas after everything. Aarambhi replies that she will, for Vihaan’s sake. At that moment, Vihaan comes to the terrace and hugs Aarambhi.
Vishwas asks Avantika to open the door. Avantika is upset with him because she overheard Manju thanking Vishwas for arranging the kidney donor. She believes that Vishwas actually did it and feels hurt. Vishwas argues with Avantika and tells her that he did not arrange the kidney donor. He warns her to open the door or he will break it. Avantika opens the door and warns Vishwas never to speak to her in that tone again, saying that she is not Aarambhi. She confirms with Vishwas that he truly did not arrange the kidney donor. Avantika asks him what he plans to do now, as Aarambhi will need time to recover after surgery, and whether he will leave her. Vishwas says he is still thinking and that Avantika’s behaviour is not allowing him to think clearly. Avantika warns him not to gaslight her and says she will not apologise for something she has not done. Vishwas tells Avantika not to change for him and says he likes her the way she is. Avantika asks when he will leave for Delhi. Vishwas replies that he will stay in Mumbai from now on, just as they decided.
Vihaan tells Aarambhi that he did not eat the muffin because he wanted to eat it with her. However, the muffin has been ruined, so he says he will buy another one so they can eat it together. After talking to Aarambhi, Vihaan leaves. Radhika asks Aarambhi what she plans to do next. Aarambhi says she will restart her life for Vihaan.
