The episode begins with Pugazh angrily asking Anbukarasi what happened, whole village is talking that Police came to their house. He asks where Vettri and Nattarasan are. Anbukarasi cries saying that Police arrested Vettri for lending money. Pugazh asks to tell the truth as he knows vettri can’t do this.
Akhila reveals that Eshwari lent money and a woman attempted to do suicide leaving a note in which she mentionned Nattarasan’s family as responsible. Vettri took the blame on himself to save Eshwari. Pugazh angrily asks Eshwari why she did like this and warns saying he will kill her if something happens to his brother. Maragadam instigates Eshwari against Pugazh.
At hospital, Nattarasan is seen crying while Thangarasu consoles him. Malar’s dad comes there. Nattarasan prays that the woman should be saved otherwise Vettri can’t be saved. Doctor comes out and tells to the lady’s husband that she got saved.
Thangarasu asks the husband how his wife is. The man blames them responsible for her wife’s suicide and taunts them. Nattarasan folds his hands and asks to forgive them.
Pugazh comes to the Police station. Nattarasan, Thangarasu and Malar’s dad comes along with a lawyer. The latter gives the bail papers to the inspector and asks to release Vettri. The inspector questions the lawyer why he tries to save an accused. The lawyer says Vettri is innocent.
Thangarasu adds last week he got the award Best Youth of Madurai for social service during the pandemic. The inspector questions then why he has to do such business. He asks the constable to release Vettri. Vettri comes out with some injuries.
Eshwari paces nervously back and forth thinking what will happen next. Maragadam says when Vettri will come back home, the family members will show all their anger on her and instigates her to ask to divide the property equally.
She advises her to not accept to divide the property into four but, to ask to divide into two, one part will be for Nattarasan’s first wife’s daughter Eshwari and another part for Anbukarasi’s three child. Eshwari wonders why to ask to divide the property now. Maragadam says to make them forgot about Vettri’s problem.
Vettri comes home. Anbukarasi cries looking at Vettri. The village people taunts Nattarasan and his family and leave. Nattarasan blames Eshwari for Vettri’s state and the humiliation of the family. Eshwari shouts saying to stop. She blames Nattarasan of marring her to a jobless person.
Nattarasan asks her to stop and advices Eshwari to collect the money from people without the intrest. Eshwari doesn’t agree. Nattarasan tries to slap her but Eshwari shows him her hand to stop and says to not shout or raise his hand on her. She will forget that he is her dad. She asks to divide the property by two, which shocks Nattarasan. Anbukarasi pleads Eshwari to stop. Maragadam asks Eshwari to go inside the house.
