Initially slated to lead the project, Aditi, alongside Randeep Rai of Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai fame, was attached to the show, produced by Karishma Jain’s 4 Lions Films and Rajita Sharma’s Katha Kottage Productions. However, both actors stepped away following significant script changes.
The show, tentatively titled Apollina, centers around a young woman with dreams of becoming an astronaut. This fresh and ambitious narrative has sparked considerable interest, with Aditi Sharma now officially locked in to portray the aspiring astronaut.
There were earlier reports suggesting that Niharika Chouksey and Adhik Mehta had been considered for the lead roles. However, the production team ultimately decided to bring Aditi Sharma back on board, signaling their confidence in her ability to bring the character to life.
