The actor, who was last seen in Chalo Bulawa Aaya Hai, is set to make his divine entry in the upcoming episodes, bringing a fresh energy to the portrayal of Mahadev.
Mohit Malik, who originally essayed the role of Lord Shiva, has exited the show owing to his tightly packed schedule and prior professional commitments. As previously reported, the makers were in search of a suitable replacement who could match the intensity and presence required for the character, and Avinesh Rekhi emerged as the final choice.
