By Anil Merani| Am I the only one who feels the Bigg Boss romance between Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta seems forced?
The makers are adamant about making us believe something is cooking between the former Udaariyan leads.
Host Salman Khan introduced them as a couple and asked several leading questions about what the duo felt about each other.
Both also are playing along, sticking to we are best friend routine. Have we not seen this before??
If it is organic and not forced down the throat, romance seems cute. However, both are being railed roaded into saying yes; I love the other.
I prefer they also engage with others rather than only talking about their relationship; Bigg Boss is going to town with this equation.
Several other male-female inmates in the previous season have become couples, Siddharth Shenaaz, Miesha Iyer – Ieshaan Seghgal and Karan Kundra Tejasswi Prakash.
Among the former, Miesha and Ieshaan’s BB 15 romance also seems forced, and many others in the house have also called them out .. The two recently have called it a day.
Love can’t be forced else it seems plastic.
Guess every season, Bigg Boss has unmistakable character etched out for each inmate, and you want one couple in the mix, and here it was spelt out from day one.
Will Bigg Boss let this romance go smooth or bring in an ex as a wild card to spice up things, or both might get impressed by someone else in the house?
You can call me doubting Thomas, but I never trust Bigg Boss equations, as you will do what it takes to win. I am not saying this about the current couple, but I have heard contestants before entering make a pact to create a romance to be seen as mushy moments attract the cameras more, and it is better than screaming at the top of your lungs.
