By Gossips TV : Colors TV’s show Mangal Lakshmi, starring Deepika Singh and Naman Shaw in the lead roles, is likely to go off-air soon. According to well-placed sources, the channel is currently unhappy with the numbers the show has been delivering in the prime-time slot.
While the ongoing cricket season has affected several television shows, sources indicate that Mangal Lakshmi has struggled to gain strong traction for quite some time. The show was shifted to the 8:30 PM prime-time slot a few months ago with hopes of improving its performance, but the ratings reportedly have not met expectations.
Recently, the channel also wrapped up the spin-off series Lakshmi Ka Safar, which was connected to the main storyline of Mangal Lakshmi. Following that development, the channel is now believed to be considering ending the original show as well.
In the current storyline, Mangal has openly challenged Ayaan after Ishana forcefully married him. Determined to reveal the truth, Mangal has begun a mission to expose Ayaan’s real face. At the same time, Adit, who previously suffered memory loss, has returned to the office and is now Mangal’s boss, creating new complications and tension in her life.
If plans move forward, the show is likely to wrap up around May, close to the end of the IPL 2026 season. Industry buzz suggests that the slot could be taken over by Shakti Arora’s upcoming show MounRagam. However, whether the current storyline manages to improve ratings in the coming weeks remains to be seen.
