By Gossips Tv : Colors TV’s popular drama Megha Barsenge is reportedly going off-air by the end of June due to consistently low viewership ratings post new generation leap. Despite the initial buzz on social media and the presence of popular actors Neil Bhatt and Neha Rana, the show failed to make a significant mark on the TRP charts.
Sources confirm that Megha Barsenge will air its final episode on 29th June 2025. The show had undergone a major revamp recently, including a timeslot change and a generation leap in a bid to boost ratings, but the efforts did not translate into improved performance.
Neil Bhatt, Neha Rana confirmed the news show going off air, stating they will miss the show for sure.
In a strategic move, Colors TV is set to bring back fan-favorite Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan in the same time slot from 30th June 2025. The youth-centric show, which originally aired on MTV India and starred Parth Samthaan and Niti Taylor as Manik and Nandini, has enjoyed massive popularity among younger audiences and continues to have a loyal fanbase.
The decision to rerun Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan comes as part of the channel’s attempt to retain viewers post-IPL, as many fiction shows are currently struggling to regain momentum. While Megha Barsenge will bid adieu, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan’s return is expected to bring a nostalgic wave for viewers and possibly revive the channel’s early evening slot ratings.
