Exclusive: Kavya is my best show so far- Mishkat Varma.

By Anil Merani| Talented actor Mishkat Varma is delighted with his current Sony TV show, Kavya-Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon. “You don’t find woke guys like Adiraj on the desi tube. He gives up his  IAS dream for his better half, Kavya( Sumbul Touqeer), to start her Indian Civil Service journey. Adiraj is a carefree guy who does things he fancies. Yet he proudly stands behind his woman, fighting with his family for her, and takes pride in her achievements.”

“I call this outing my best so far. I have got the maximum love for Adiraj. I will not say that I am best suited to play him; others could have essayed him as well, But I am playing him.”

“I have so much to do in Kavya. It is very refreshing to play Adiraj. The best part is that he does his stuff naturally, and there is no unnecessary negativity around him. Here, I will credit the entire team. More than the actor,  the written material and direction make the difference. I doff my hat to producers Deeya and Tony Singh for creating such a great story .” says he.

Talking about  Sumbul, he calls her a very caring co-star.” She is a very respectful and fun person to be around. I enjoy every moment of shooting with her,” says  Miskhat, who earlier did shows like Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Divya Drishti, Anandibaa Aur Emily, etc.

“Adiraj has become a journalist; wait for the coming episodes where his profession will play an essential role in the story in the future,” informs Mishkat.

Sony has few numbers. Is that a dampener? “Well, these things are above my paygrade; I restrict myself to what I can do (hard work) “, says he.

In closing, when asked if men are as giving as Adiraj in real life? Mishkat says, “Not all men are selfish. There are good and bad people everywhere. I know someone in my family who sacrificed for his wife.”
