#Exclusive| People have gracefully accepted me in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin – Shakti Arora.

By Anil Merani| Shakti Arora is doing an excellent job in the Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, where he replaced Neil Bhatt post-leap. Shakti began his acting career back in 2006 with Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai. Over the years, he has done other shows like Tere Liye Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Sanskaar Laxmi, and Meri Aashiqui.

We caught up with Shakti for a quick tete-tat on the show and more.

How is it entering a cult show like  Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin?

To enter a show like this always comes with baggage and legacy. Thankfully, I have lived up to it, and people have gracefully accepted it. And it’s doing well in numbers, too.

How is it working with your co-stars, Bhavika Sharma and Sumit Singh?

All are grounded, humble, and good actors, and that’s reflected in their performances, too.

What are you doing to create your niche compared to earlier actors like Neil Bhatt on the show?

I don’t even know how they performed. I am not comparing myself to anyone else. I have my own beliefs and a different personality. I am serving the audience something else on the plate.

How do you see your acting journey?

I feel blessed to see my acting journey. God has been kind, improving my skills with every show.

The best show to date?

Meri Aashiqui

Is there any character on your bucket list?

I am open to all kinds of roles I haven’t performed before.
