By Gossips Tv : Star Plus, one of India’s leading Hindi entertainment channels, is ramping up its content for the coming months, with more than four new shows in development. Known for its diverse programming, Star Plus is preparing to launch several intriguing new projects that promise to engage and entertain audiences.
Kicking off the new lineup is Deewaniyat, starring Vijayendra Kumeria and Kritika Singh Yadav, produced by Cockrow and Shaika Films. Set to premiere in November 2024, Deewaniyat is expected to be a compelling addition to the channel’s portfolio, offering a fresh story and a talented cast.
Following this, several new shows are slated for early 2025. Among these is a much-anticipated project by Swastik Pictures, which is reportedly deep into preparations. Also on the horizon is a new show by the famed “Soap Queen” Ekta Kapoor, a creator who has been behind some of Indian television’s most iconic dramas.
Another production from Gul Khan, a well-established producer, is expected to hit screens in January 2025 as well, adding to the excitement of the new year lineup. Additionally, Nikhil Sinha is said to be developing a new show, further adding to Star Plus’ dynamic mix of genres and storytelling.
However, this expansion might come at a cost. Some current shows, including Do Dooni Pyaar, Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua, Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha, and Maati Se Bandhi Dor, are reportedly at risk, with Maati Se Bandhi Dor likely to be the first casualty to make room for the new releases.
