Exclusive: Sachi jodi of Udne Ki Aasha is picking up steam- Neha Harsora.

By Anil Merani: Neha Harsora, the captivating lead of ‘Udne Ki Aasha ‘, is thrilled about the show’s distinctiveness. “Our story, set in the vibrant city of Mumbai, is a journey that resonates with everyone. Even my minimalistic makeup look contributes to the authenticity, making me a familiar face for the audience. What sets us apart is that our narrative isn’t just about family drama; we also weave in elements of fun and romance. The organic (friendship to love) evolution of the romance between Sachin(Kanwar Dhillon) and Sayali (me) is a testament to this.”

“Our numbers have seen a significant boost post the IPL, and the mahasangam with  Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin was a great contributor, “Neha acknowledges, highlighting the show’s growing popularity.

I love the messages audiences send us on social media. The Sachi (Sachin and Sayli) Jodi is picking up steam.” says she

What did you add from your side to the character?

“Since Sayali is a flower seller, I learned how to make the gajra and the mannerisms of the tribe. I also mastered the two-wheeler ride. Last, I improved my spoken Marathi and added this Gujarati ben.

Neha is having a blast with her co-stars. “Kanwar Dhillon is a chilled-out, no-tantrum dude; even the duo  Puru Chibbar and Devashish Chandirmani, who plays my on-screen brother-in-laws, are fun.”

Udne Ki Aasha is Neha’s second lead; her first appearance was Raaz Mahal on Shemaroo. “I also had a negative cameo in the Sab TV fantasy show Dhruv Tara. It was fun being bad without reason.”

Acting runs in the Harsora family’s genes. Neha’s sister Yesha is also the front face of the upcoming ColorsTV show  Khubsurrat. “Yes, she is another drama queen. We were delighted when she landed the above project, which we dropped on each other’s sets.”

Neha added, “As the eldest of four siblings, I enforce discipline among the group, ensuring no one breaks the midnight curfew. Occasional night outs are okay, but not regularly.”
