It’s more than just CID that Sony is considering bringing back. Reports also hint at the return of the beloved supernatural show, Aaahat. Both CID and Aaahat have left an indelible mark as the most iconic shows on Sony, evoking a sense of nostalgia and appreciation among their fans.
Police drama CID, starring Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastav, ran for 21 years (21 January 1998 to 27 October 2018.).
All the characters have become iconic. Dialogues like Kuch to Gadbaad Hai Daya and Daya Darwaza Tod Do have become common jargon.
