Facing challenges in garnering high TRP ratings across both fiction and non-fiction shows, the channel is planning a revival strategy to reclaim its position in the competitive TV landscape.
According to our well placed sources, Sony TV is set to appoint a new Managing Director who will spearhead this revival. As part of their strategy, the channel plans to launch more than five new shows in the coming months, covering a variety of genres including historical dramas, mythology, and romance.
In a bid to attract more viewers and recapture its former glory, Sony TV is also considering bringing back the second season of one of its popular shows, “Devi.” This move is part of a broader plan to refresh its content lineup and appeal to a wider audience.
