By Gossips TV : &TV is set to shut down its operations after an 11-year run, and the impact is now clearly visible across its programming slate. Following the recent wrap-up of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan and the impending end of Gharwali Pedwali, another major show is now confirmed to be going off air – Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain 2.0.
As per sources, the final episode of the comedy series is expected to air on April 16, aligning with the channel’s complete closure timeline. Despite earlier speculation about a possible shift to OTT, the makers and the channel have reportedly decided against continuing the show in any format.
The second season was launched with considerable buzz, especially with the return of Shilpa Shinde, which created strong expectations among viewers. However, the transition failed to deliver the desired impact. The show experimented with a horror-based storyline, a shift from its classic comedy tone, but it struggled to connect with audiences.
The cast also saw notable changes over time. While Shilpa Shinde returned to reprise the iconic role of Angoori, Shubhangi Atre exited the show, marking a significant shift for longtime viewers. The original version of the show had featured a popular ensemble including Saumya Tandon, Rohitashv Gour, Yogesh Tripathi, Vidisha Srivastava, Aasif Sheikh, and Saanand Verma, contributing to its long-standing success.
With declining traction and the channel’s shutdown, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain 2.0 will now bid farewell, bringing an end to one of Indian television’s most recognized comedy franchises.
