EXO’s Chen is finally going to hold a wedding ceremony with his non-celebrity wife after three years of marriage and two baby daughters!
On August 16, Korean Media reported that EXO’s Chen will be holding a wedding ceremony with his wife in October.
In response to the report, SM Entertainment confirmed that Chen is planning a wedding ceremony which has been delayed due to several circumstances, in October this year.
Chen who is one of the most active member of the popular boys band group ‘EXO’, announced his marriage to his non-celebrity girlfriend and the news of pregnancy in January 2020, and soon after, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl in April. In January 2022, Chen’s wife gave birth to their second daughter while Chen was serving in the military. Chen was discharged from the military in April 2022.
Chen and his wife have been unable to hold a formal wedding ceremony due to circumstances such as childbirth and military enlistment of the singer, but now the couple is finally preparing to hold their belated wedding ceremony in October.
On the work front, Chen is currently gearing up to release his first Japanese solo album “Polaris” on August 17 and also prepping for his solo Japanese tour starting on August 19.
