The episode starts with Karishma informing Bhavani that Sai is getting ready to go to college. Bhavani assures that Sonali that she will not let her go to college. Sai’s caretaker Usha feeds her curd with sugar and wishes her for her first day of college.
She says that if Kamal dada is alive he would’ve been very happy to see her going to college. She asks if she wants to accompany her to college but Sai denies. She says she already found out all routes. Sai takes blessings from Ashwini on her first day of college. She finds her upset and asks sorry from her. She convinces her to forgive her with her pleadings. Ashwini warns her that everyone keep watch on her every activities and she shouldn’t give them a chance to let them succeed. She asks her to return before 7 and Sai assures her she will. Karishma calls Sai saying Bhavani called her outside.
Ashwini sends her away understanding their plan. Sai finds the arrangements and asks Ashwini the reason for it. Bhavani explains that it’s Ekadashi today and they are feeding the priests. Bhavani says that the food must be made by only daughter in law of the house. She asks her to join other daughters in law in the preparation for pooja. Sai says but none ever informed her about it while Karishma taunts her. Sai says she can’t as its her first day of college.
Bhavani asks her to not give reasons and leave after completing her chores. Sai pleads Ashwini to take care in her place. She assures that she will manage and asks her to go. Ashwini’s husband taunts her and asks her to go after completing her chores. Sai doesn’t listen to him and is about to go but Bhavani warns her to not go against her. Karishma asks her to at least grind the spices before leaving. Usha offers to do it in the place of Sai but Sonali says that only the house’s daughter in law should do it.
Ashwini asks then why didn’t she never did any job in kitchen. Nina’s supports Sonali calling her a rich daughter in law unlike her and her daughter in law. Bhavani praises Patralekha for being a scholar but still doing all the works assigned to her without a word. Patralekha says that she’s taught by her parents to listen to elders in her in laws house. Bhavani and Ninad praises Paakhi. Sai says that she agrees Pakhi is the best daughter in law and she’s worst but she doesn’t care about anything as she wants to go to college. Bhavani taunts her for living for free in the house without doing any chores and taunts her upbringing by her father.
Paakhi supports Bhavani and Sai shuts her. She says that she already informed Virat that she will return all the money he spent on her studies. Paakhi says that she can return money but not the favor showered on her by Virat. A fed up Sai agrees to leave only after completing her work. She asks them to bring mixer but Bhavani says that they would grind spices only manually. Sai says she doesn’t know to grind manually and Ashwini offers to help her.
.However Bhavani sends her away asking her to do her work first. Sai gets hurt while grinding and Sonali loads her with work. Sai bleeds and Ashwini gets worried. Paakhi taunts her. Sonali says that her blood fell on the grounded ginger and spoilt everything. Virat is getting ready and wonders if why didn’t Sai message or call him yet. He scolds her in his mind. Dhai ties bandage around her finger to stop bleeding. Sai gets emotional and starts grinding again. Bhavani and others watch it as she finishes grinding ginger.
Bhavani gets another idea. She asks her to grind some chillies too. Ashwini says that she will grind chillies as Sai is hurt. Bhavani taunts her and Sonali and Paakhi agrees with her. Sai starts grinding the chillies too and is in pain. Sai cries in pain. Karishma taunts her and Paakhi asks her to stop her drama.
