The episode begins with the Pradhan family planning to perform the post-wedding rituals of Neil and Teju. Teju comes downstairs, and Amruta praises her, saying she looks beautiful. She also tells Teju not to feel bad about what happened during the Gruhpravesh ritual. Prachi supports Amruta and advises Teju to forget about the incident, reminding her that everyone is gathered for the rituals.
Rituraj interrupts, pointing out that not everyone is present and mentions that Leena has locked herself in her room because of Teju. He comments bitterly and walks away.
As Neil and Teju are about to begin the rituals, Leena makes a harsh remark, saying Neil got married without his mother and is now doing the rituals without her as well. Neil responds, saying he tried to invite her, but she chose to lock herself away. Leena continues to blame Neil, saying she failed in raising him if he could forget his mother so easily. Nandini pleads with Leena to let go of the anger, but Leena accuses her of expecting her to be happy while Neil has supposedly ruined his life.
Teju defends herself, asking Leena why she believes Neil has ruined his life by marrying her. She adds that Neil married her with full consent, while she had no say in the decision. Leena dismisses it as drama and insists the marriage happened with Teju’s consent. Amruta steps in and questions Leena’s behavior. She declares she’ll leave, unable to see Teju being humiliated. Leena responds rudely again. Amruta then asks Bhushan if the rituals will take place or not. Bhushan confirms they will, as the marriage has already happened, and says he doesn’t want any more drama.
The Pradhan family proceeds with the rituals by applying haldi to Neil and Teju and then bathing them by pouring water over them.
Amruta then explains the next ritual where Neil must hold a piece of coconut in his mouth, and Teju has to eat it without using her hands. Neil says he’ll do it only if Teju agrees. Though Teju remains silent, Neil’s cousins take it as her approval and tease the couple. Eventually, Teju eats the coconut from Neil’s mouth.
Rituraj, watching everything, feels bitter. He thinks to himself that Teju left him and married his doctor brother just to prove he is insignificant. He believes she made a mistake and resents her for it.
Later, Amruta gives Neil a saree and asks him to bless Teju. Neil agrees and promises Teju that he will always support her in pursuing her dreams. He then gives her the saree.
Rituraj tries to provoke Neil by saying that every girl has a boyfriend before marriage and implies Neil should know about Teju’s past. Neil calmly replies that it applies to boys as well—they also have girlfriends before marriage. He adds that when he gets married, he’ll make sure to inform his wife about his past too. Rituraj is silenced but responds sarcastically, saying he’ll give Neil details about his exes since Teju is now in the spotlight. Jeetu hears this and taunts Rituraj.
Amruta asks Teju to touch Neil’s feet and take his blessings. Teju hesitates, and Leena makes another snide remark. Neil tells Leena to let it go. Eventually, Teju touches Neil’s feet, and Neil blesses her, repeating that he will always support her dreams.
Prachi then tells the couple to rest in their room. However, Rituraj reminds them that they can’t be together until all the post-wedding rituals are complete. Neil asks Teju to rest in the room while he will stay in the guest room and then leaves.

Precap: Rituraj confronts Teju, accusing her of rejecting him and marrying his brother. He vows that as long as he is in the music industry, he will not let her become a professional singer. As Rituraj walks away, Neil overhears the conversation and discovers that Rituraj is Teju’s ex-boyfriend.
