The episode starts with Bhagyashree trying to oust Savi from the house. Savi stops her and says, “You can’t keep me away from my children. I’m their legal guardian, and I won’t let you take them to the USA.” Tara lashes out, claiming Savi is unfit to raise the kids because of her alleged affair with Neil. Aniket attempts to calm Tara down, but she shouts at him instead. Neil intervenes and says, “Why are you trying to run away? Fight it in court. Let the court decide who the rightful guardian is.”
Srichand responds, saying that Savi is already suspended from her job and no one knows when she’ll get it back. He argues that she’s incapable of taking care of the kids and that he will support them while they live with Bhagyashree. He confidently declares that Bhagyashree will win custody. Savi fires back, asking him not to talk about the children’s welfare when he was responsible for their father’s death. Tara erupts again, defending Srichand and declaring that only their family deserves custody of the children.
Savi pleads with Bhagyashree to reconsider, but Srichand coldly states that only Bhagyashree will get custody, and he begins to leave. Neil tells Savi she doesn’t have to beg anyone for her own children. Savi, confused, asks him what he means. Neil replies, “They’re saying you’re alone and don’t have any support. I’m going to fix that.” He then takes her to the prayer altar and, in a shocking move, applies sindoor in her maang.
Everyone is stunned as Neil announces, “I’ve married Savi. You are all witnesses. From now on, she is Savi Pradhan, wife of Dr. Neil Pradhan. I earn well, and she’s not alone anymore—she has me and my family. You called our relationship illegitimate, so I’ve made it legitimate.” He looks at Tara and says, “Now, with my support, Savi will get custody. And seeing Srichand’s involvement, the court won’t grant custody to your side.”
Just then, Sai comes out with her packed bags. She hugs Savi and asks, “Are we going to the USA together?” Savi replies, “No, we’re all staying here together.” Sai smiles and thanks her. Suddenly, they hear police sirens.
Neil turns to Srichand and says, “These people didn’t believe us, but the police did. They’re here to arrest you.” The Commissioner and his team arrive. The Commissioner instructs Bhakti to arrest Srichand under charges of money laundering and kidnapping. In a moment of panic, Srichand grabs Sai and takes her hostage. Everyone is horrified. Neil pleads with him to let her go, but Srichand refuses.
Bhagyashree steps forward and emotionally appeals to him, saying she trusts him and begs him not to harm Sai. Srichand finally confesses that Savi’s accusations are true. He admits he dragged Rajat into money laundering and kidnapped Ridhi. However, he denies killing Rajat and claims someone else did. Bhagyashree, devastated, asks why he would destroy their family.
Srichand reveals the truth: they are paying the price for her husband’s actions. He says that ten years ago, his father Mahendra Goel was sent to jail because Bhagyashree’s husband, Rajendra Thakkar, gave testimony against him for stealing ₹5–6 lakhs. After Rajendra’s statement, Mahendra couldn’t bear the humiliation and committed suicide. His mother also died from the shock, leaving Srichand an orphan. He confesses that he had always wanted revenge on the Thakkar family and finally got the chance when they moved from Mumbai to Nagpur due to Savi. He says Savi always stood in his way, so he used a video to try and separate her from the family.
Srichand blames Savi for always siding with the truth and even holds her responsible for Sai’s current situation. Savi pleads with him not to hurt Sai. Srichand says Sai will help him escape and that he will never let her meet Savi again. At that moment, Neil sneaks up behind him and grabs him. Sai escapes and runs to her family. During the struggle between Neil and Srichand for the gun, Neil gets shot near the neck and hits his head when he falls to the ground.

Precap: Leena asks Savi how Neil ended up in such a critical condition. Savi says Neil was shot while trying to save her daughter. Upon hearing this, Leena slaps Savi.
