The episode begins with Mukta breaking down in tears upon seeing the news of Teju’s death on TV. The family tries to console her. Satish remarks that even in death, Teju has ruined the family’s reputation. Omi adds that they might as well die, as they have no respect left. Satish then insults Mukta and her daughter. Lakshmi, Aditi, and Juhi stand up for Teju and Mukta. Lakshmi urges Satish to at least show some humanity. Omi tells Lakshmi to stop defending Teju and Mukta, expressing regret for ever bringing them into the family. Teju’s brother insists that his sister could never do anything wrong, but Satish rebukes him. Suddenly, Mukta collapses clutching her chest. Satish accuses her of pretending. Teju’s brother immediately calls Neil.
Dr. Surwa checks Mukta and informs Neil and the family that she has suffered a major heart stroke. Though she is out of danger, she has slipped into a coma. Teju’s brother breaks down, hugging Neil. Lakshmi tells Neil that Teju did nothing wrong, yet her name continues to be tarnished even after her death. Neil says he knows Teju was innocent. Lakshmi questions why he asked Teju to leave his life. Vedaan, Teju’s brother, runs off. Neil apologizes to Lakshmi, explaining that he only asked Teju to leave to protect her from his family and never imagined this would happen. He then goes to Vedaan and promises to prove Teju’s innocence.
Meanwhile, Savi and her family mourn Rajat’s death. Savi recalls her moments with him. Bhagyashree blames Savi for Rajat’s death, accusing her of making him move to Nagpur and saying she is solely responsible. Nidhi and Tara’s husband try to calm things down. Tara throws water on Savi and calls her Rajat’s killer. Ridhi and Tara’s husband defend Savi, saying she did nothing wrong. Savi breaks down, saying she lost her husband and doesn’t understand why Rajat went out at night or why he was with that woman. Bhagyashree slaps her and questions whether Savi is doubting her own son. Savi replies that she trusts Rajat and vows to uncover the truth, prove his innocence, and expose the false affair rumors circulating on TV. Bhagyashree says it won’t bring her son back and declares she will never forgive Savi. Ridhi takes Bhagyashree inside. Savi collapses in tears.
Later, Sai comes to Savi and asks why she is crying. She wants to know why her dad isn’t answering calls and whether he went to get her gifts. Savi, holding back tears, tells herself that she must stay strong for the kids. She prays to Bappa for strength. Savi then asks Sai what she wants to eat. Sai says she’s already eaten and wants to do the “Gigi Dance” with her. Savi forces a smile and dances with her. Sai says they can do the same dance with dad when he returns. Savi hugs her tightly.
Savi and Neil later go to the river to immerse their partners’ ashes in the same place. Savi promises Rajat that she will prove his innocence and catch his killer. Neil makes the same vow to Teju’s ashes. They both perform the ritual, and family members weep.
At home, Sai prays to her father’s photo, asking him to return soon. Savi receives a gift Rajat had ordered before his death. Neil also receives a gift—a guitar from Teju. Savi finds a yellow saree with a love note from Rajat and breaks down in tears. Sai comes in and asks to go find her dad. Savi, holding back tears, puts on Rajat’s coat to cheer Sai up.
At the hospital, Neil is surrounded by media reporters questioning him about his alleged affair with Rajat. He tries to walk away but loses his cool upon hearing their accusations. Dr. Surwa stops him from reacting further.
