The episode starts with Uthaman saying about Sumitra organizing press meet in the evening to announce Arjun and Iniya’s marriage. He says Sumitra wants her to be present during the meet. Vasu cuts the call saying she’ll be on time. Lakshmi is still searching for the photo but couldn’t find it. Vasu pleads her to check properly once more. Lakshmi starts checking and finally finds the photo. Vasu gets extremely happy that now she can expose Iniya and end her game. Lakshmi asks what’s she saying for which Vasu says that she will speak with her later and leaves thanking her.
Everything is arranged for press meet and Sumitra greets everyone. She says about their silver jubilee celebration in some days and also announces about Arjun and Iniya’s marriage on the same day. She says that Arjun and Iniya are childhood sweethearts who’s tying the knot now. Thulasi and Hari gets angry hearing it while Vasu comes there. Sumitra asks Arjun and Iniya to exchange rings. Arjun is about to slide the ring on Iniya’s finger when it falls down and rolls near Vasu’s feet. Vasu picks it up and comes near Arjun.
Vasu says Arjun that Iniya doesn’t deserve the ring at all. Arjun asks what’s she saying when Vasu gives the photo to Arjun. Arjun looks at the photo and gets shocked. He says there’s Thulasi along with his heart friend in the photo and as e it really Vasu is his heart friend. Sumitra also looks at the picture and looks angrily at Iniya. Arjun lashes out at Iniya when Vasu says she’s just a pickpocket in Pondicherry. Arjun wants to call the police but Vasu is against it. She says their forgiveness is her best punishment. However all this turns out to be a dream.
Arjun exchanges ring with Iniya happily while Vasu watches it sad and helpless. Thulasi and Hari are heart broken too. Sumitra notices Vasu and calls her towards her. She introduces Vasu as the deputy manager of their company and also announces her marriage with Ilamaran. She says that she didn’t discuss about it with even Vasu’s parents as she trusts that they will not disobey her words. Vasu puts on a fake smile. Iniya throws a victorious smile towards Vasu. The press meet ends and Sumitra asks them to leave after having food.
Vasu comes to her home crying and falls on bed. Hari and Thulasi comes after her and asks why didn’t she say the truth to them. Vasu asks what’s the use as everything is over now. Thulasi says only engagement is over and not marriage but Vasu says that Arjun accepted Iniya in front of the whole media and world and there’s nothing she could do about it. She says she’s tired of chasing after him and asks what this photo can do. She says that she tried to confess her love both directly and indirectly but it’s of no use and Arjun didn’t have even ounce of feeling towards her. Vasu says she didn’t want to force herself into a love using the photo and now wants to let go off everything. She cries deciding to give up.
