On February 20, TV Daily reported that actor Gong Yoo and actress Seo Hyun Jin will be starring in a new Netflix Original series together.In response to the reports, a source from their respective agencies shared that Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin have received an offer to star in the new Netflix romantic drama “Trunk “and are positively reviewing the offer.
Based on the novel of the same name “Trunk “ tells the story about a fixed-term marriage service agency NM that sets up marriage with the spouse that one desires.The upcoming drama will be helmed by PD Kim Gyu Tae of “Moon Lovers :Scarlet Heart Ryeo “,Its Okay,That’s Love “ and “Our Blues “ fame and will be penned by scriptwriter Park Eun Young of “Hwarang : The Poet Warrior Youth “ fame.
Actress Seo Hyun Jin who has impressed the viewers with her flawless performance as a hot shot lawyer surrounded by politics in the drama “Why Her “ (2022) is reportedly in talks to play marriage service agency NM’s deputy head Noh In Ji.Although her profession involves marrying off people ,Noh In Ji chooses to stay single.
Actor Gong Yoo who has stolen the hearts of many right from the romantic drama “Coffee Prince” (2007) to “Guardian : The Lonely And Great Gods” (2016) is in talks to play Han Jung Won,a music producer who believes all marriages are full of lies and deceit.
