Hema Sharma’s decision to go to Bigg Boss jail backfired!

By Anil Merani: Sometimes, you end up getting too smart for your good. Well, this epitaph applies fully to the first eliminated Bigg Boss 18 contestant Hema Sharma, aka internet sensation, Viral Bhabhi.

She initially chose the jail along with Tajinder Bagga, which cut her off from the other inmates for a long time. Though she realised the same, it was too late by then.

The voting janta did not get enough time to get to know her, compared to the other nominated housemates, so they sent her packing.

Had she been with the rest of the crowd from day one, she may have shown her mojo, but alas.

This should be a lesson to others; getting locked up cuts you off from the rest, resulting in no content,  as it always takes two to tango.

Hema, has done films Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, One Day: Justice Delivered, and Dabangg 3,

Whatever little we saw of Hema was entertaining, Bigg Boss 18 was a golden opportunity for her to showcase her personality to the world.

Interestingly, Hema’s ex-husband Gaurav Saxena (Uganda- based NRI), has levelled serious allegations against Hema once she is out. He has accused her of not letting him meet his son and demanding money.

He smartly kept quiet when she was inside as she would have got a larger audience to respond.

Could a more glamorous wardrobe have attracted attention to Hema? Her choice of primarily wearing saris influenced her visibility in the house.   I agree; the public knows her for her sari look, but she could have tried to look different to reach a wider audience.

The fact that Hema was eliminated so early, and there was no major controversy around her, would mean that she would not return as a wildcard.

Despite the early end of her Bigg Boss 18 journey, Hema’s resilience and determination are truly inspiring. We can’t wait to see how she uses this experience to propel her career forward across different mediums (YouTube and films)

We wish Hema all the best in her future.
