Colors newly launch show Barrister Babu Showcases the story of Bondita and Anirudh. Bondita an 8 years old girl was forced to get married to an old man who instantly died on the marriage day. Villagers decide to burn Bondita alive as per the ‘Sati Pratha’. Anirudh who too was present at the wedding venue raises his voice against sati pratha. Villagers question Anirudh about his relationship with Bondita. And to give the name to the relation, Anirudh ends up marrying Bondita.
