Hiba Nawab and Adhik Mehta to lead Sony SAB’s upcoming fantasy sitcom inspired by Bewitched.

By Gossips TV : Sony SAB is set to bring a fresh blend of fantasy, comedy, and family entertainment to viewers with its upcoming sitcom starring Hiba Nawab and Adhik Mehta in the lead roles. Produced by Optimystix Entertainment, the show is inspired by the classic American series Bewitched and will revolve around a magical yet relatable family story.

Hiba Nawab will reportedly play Urvashi, a kind-hearted witch who falls in love with and marries Aarav Patel, portrayed by Adhik Mehta. After marriage, Urvashi promises to leave her magical life behind and embrace a normal existence with her husband and his family. However, keeping her powers hidden proves easier said than done.

As Urvashi navigates everyday household situations, she often finds herself turning to magic to solve problems. What begins as a simple solution frequently spirals into unexpected chaos, leading to humorous misunderstandings and entertaining family moments. The series is expected to draw much of its charm from the clash between ordinary family life and the unpredictable consequences of magic.

The project marks Hiba Nawab’s return to television in a lead role and offers her a refreshing shift from intense drama to a lighter, comedy-driven character. Adhik Mehta, meanwhile, takes on the role of the male lead, with the show centering heavily on the dynamic between Aarav and Urvashi.

Apart from the lead pair, the sitcom is also expected to feature Rakhi Vijan and Kanchan Gupta in pivotal roles.
