I’m going to bring people who are very different- Shardul Pandit

Shardul Pandit on juggling cities and work. Check out his exclusive interview.

  1. You have interviewed a host of people for your show; what makes you develop that connect with them?

Being completely nonchalant and comfortable in your skin. I mean, sometimes you sit across a Deepika, sometimes a TV actor, and if they sense you are either in awe of them or things low or high of yourself, it’s the death of that chat. You have to approach them as just another human being who you are having a chat with.

  1. What is more difficult, being an actor or RJ?

Both have their difficulties, but being RJ is tougher as there is no scriptwriter, no creative head, stylist, or a team of channel, production, and a crew. At max, you and your co-host and sometimes a producer. In fact, everything is live, so there is no editing also.

  1. What next from your end?

Let me get my Tarot cards, lol. No one knows what’s next biggest of the film starts, and I also don’t know if they will have work the next day. I am an artist, and after doing TV, reality shows, web, music videos, and podcasts, I am open to everything.

I was approached to be part of a reality show, and I would love to do it, but post Bigg Boss now I will only participate when I know my interests are taken care of. I would like to sign something that will showcase my skills. Though I would love to host a show and do a web show.

  1. One of the actors you have most enjoyed interviewing, and why?

No one beats Shahrukh Khan in conversations; he makes you feel the most important person, but I have a few other favorites too: Vidya Balan, for she is intelligent and candid; Kajol, as it’s a laugh riot; but stay tuned to my podcasts, as I’m going to bring people who are very different.

  1. What do you have to say on this season of Bigg boss OTT? Any favorites?

No, I don’t want to say anything on this season, but I’d rather spend time watching reruns of the past year. I am tired of this question. Also, let me ask you a question instead. As a platform, are you happy covering this season and the things that I have heard have happened?

  1. One actress you have always wanted to interview, and why?

Already did it was Madhuri Dixit. Why? Because I love her more than Mr. Nene; she just doesn’t know it yet. In fact, when I let her, we both danced and made a reel. I was shaking after it when she held my hand.
