The episode starts with Devika seeing Arto in front of her. Kabhi Khushi kabhi gam plays in background. She gets emotional and she can’t believe in her eyes. She asks her family members if she is hallucinating. If Arto is really standing in front of them. Arto calls her mother and she goes to him. She hugs him and breaks down. She asks him where was he in last five years? Why he didn’t come back. She asks Imlie about her reaction for seeing Arto after long. Imlie remains quiet and Kairi runs towards Arto. He lifts her up and Devika hugs them both. Chini also comes to Rana House and holds Kairi in her arms. They say they missed each other a lot. Devika gets surprised seeing that and asks Imlie what is all this?
Imlie says Kairi is tired and so she sends her to room to sleep. Imlie tries to talk to Devika about the truth and Devika says if she already knew that Arto is alive. She gets to know that even Rudra had all the information about Arto, Chini. She cries out of disappointment and Rudra says they got to know the truth some days ago only. Devika says she cried all these years for her son but they didn’t feel the need to tell her the truth. She removes the garland from Arto’s photo. She asks Imlie why she lied to all? Imlie replies she thought Devika won’t be able to accept the truth. Devika says why did she think that? Rudra says Imlie is not at fault but Arto is. She should question Arto first. Shivani asks Arto what was he doing for so many years? Why he was with Chini? Ginni also questions him why he hurt them? Kia says there must be some reason why Arto was away from them.
Arto doesn’t respond and Devika says she has the right to question Arto first. He won’t explain anything in front of those who don’t care about his existence. She takes him to room and asks he used to give every small information to her from childhood then why did he hide such a big thing? Why didn’t he return back? Arto says Dhairya took his place in the house so he filled his gap. Nobody supported him or waited for him. For whom he would return to this house? Devika says atleast for his mother he could have returned. She hugs him. Chini gives kisses to Kairi and asks her if she is alright. She asks Kairi why she came here? Kairi says she wants to find her mother thus she came to Delhi with Imlie. Chini says she didn’t miss her at all.
Devika says he could’ve killed her before doing all this. He hugs her saying he never wanted to hurt her. She says she feels glad to know he became father. She asks him about where did he stay for five years and if Chini is Kairi’s mother.
Precap- Arto files complaint against Imlie for kidnapping Kairi. He gets her arrested and Kairi says don’t arrest Imlie. She faints when Imlie leaves. Arto and Chini get shocked.
