Imlie 8th May 2023 Written Update on TellyExpress.com
The episode starts with Arto stopping the alarm clock and he recalls how he ordered a cake for Imlie on her birthday. She said she wants Moti roti cake. He says that he needs to make, he can’t find that in market. He gets romantic with Imlie and the flashback ends. Arto says noone can take Imlie’s place in his heart. But she gave his place to Dhairya easily. He says he cant forget her memories tha to easily though he left her long back. Humari Adhuri Kahani plays in background. Arto feels betrayed and there Imlie misses him. She recalls their memories that she used to celebrate her birthday with him. She says people tell her to move on as he died long back. But she can’t spend a day without thinking about him. Dhairya thinks if he should send the gifts to Imlie or not. If he doesn’t do that then she might think he doesn’t care for her. Rudra comes to him and notices the presents. He teases Dhairya saying if he brought all this for Imlie. He should send it without hesitation. Dhairya feels shy and Rudra insists him to send them. Dhairya says if he is making any mistake but he wants to bring smile on Imlie’s face.
Kairi hears from two people that it’s Imlie’s birthday today but she never celebrates it. Kairi says they should do something special for her, atleast they can bake a cake. Imlie cries in bed. Chini notices Arto and then gets Anu’s call. Anu asks her if Arto arranged the fees and sent Kairi to camp? Chini says yes which shocks Anu. Anu advises her to get close to Arto as they are alone tonight. Chini says she will never take her advise as its always misguiding. She says she will never ask Arto to marry her or label their relationship, until and unless it’s his choice. She tells Chini to think about the society but the latter says she doesn’t care. Chini gets confused if she should talk to Arto about it again.
Devika sees the presents Dhairya wants to send Imlie. She messes up the gifts in anger and Shivani stops her asking why she is doing that. Devika says no happiness will be celebrated in this house they lost their son. Dhairya wants to snatch Arto’s love and she can’t let that happen. Imlie only belongs to Arto. Dhairya and Rudra see that. Shivani consoles Devika and takes her to room. Rudra decides to talk to Devika as he feels she changed after Arto’s death. Dhairya stops him saying he should understand Devika’s pain. Kala’s situation was same when he left her.
Kairi comes to Imlie and before she sees Arto’s photo Imlie wakes up. Kairi wishes her happy birthday. She asks about Imlie’s husband and the latter says he is no more. Kairi cheers her up and Imlie hugs her. Everyone comes to celebrate Imlie’s birthday and the latter gets delighted seeing moti roti cake brought by Kairi. Kairi says her best friend makes it too.
Kids pass comments like it looks like bread. Imlie says but she loved it. She cuts the cake and recalls Arto used to feed her too. Imlie says Kairi made her feel so special too. Other kids ask Imlie to give them a hug as well. Imlie asks Kairi how her best friend makes the cake for her. What’s her name. Kairi is about reveal Chini’s name and they hear a noise. Imlie thinks who knows about the moti roti cake except her and Arto.
