No wonder barely has the dust settled on the recent five-year leap comes news of a giant leap or season change with an emphasis on Malini(Mayuri Deshmukh) and Aditya’s ( Gashmeer)daughter Cheeni. The same website had earlier claimed that Imlie might end and now has added that it will get season 2
If the above news is correct, who would play grown-up Cheeni? What would happen to Sumbul Toqueer Khan? Would she be game to play a mother so early in her career? Is there a chance that she might return as some other character
The same question applies to Fahmaan Khan(playing father) as well.
Also, what would be Malini’s role in the new set-up?
A leap typically happens when the story is not working.
Interestingly while online FD is gushing about Sumbul and Fahmaan chem, the ratings are still not going north.
Also, Cheeni ‘s love story will allow makers enough space to work out new plots and subplots. It would be interesting to see Imlie and Aryan playing second fiddle to Cheeni and her new love interest.
