This week began with Imlie talking to Satyakam’s photo. She says he gave her dare to witness her own husband’s wedding. She says she is thankful to him for being able to face everything fearlessly. She tells the other reporters to have lunch but one guy called Satish forgot to bring his lunch so Imlie offers him her lunch. Aryan notices that and Aditya says Imlie is like butterfly who can’t belong to one flower. So she can easily move on Aryan should keep it in mind. Aryan replies Imlie is a survivor after all Aditya did to her. She is fighting with the situation. He never understood her thus he compared her with a butterfly. Aryan says but he never forgets his enemies easily. He leaves and Aditya is about to get into a fight with him but Malini stops him.
Malini takes him aside and asks him to control his anger during their marriage functions. She says he is marrying her for the sake of the child and he fixed the wedding without asking her she didn’t say anything. But he can atleast act like he is excited and interested else she is feeling like an extra on her wedding. She adds she will tell everyone this marriage won’t happen. Aditya stops her saying he won’t disappoint her now.
Haldi ceremony begins and Malini applies haldi on Aditya. Aditya does the same. Imlie feels shattered and Anu applies haldi on them. She asks Imlie to apply haldi as Tripathis seem disinterested also she has special relationship with Aditya. Imlie applies haldi on Malini’s face but Aditya doesn’t let Imlie apply it on his face. Imlie slips and the turmeric falls on Malini’s dress. Anu gets angry and badmouths Imlie for ruining Malini’s dress. Aryan warns her to not cross her limits by insulting his staff. Imlie talks about dhol dance. Malini then goes with Aditya to dance. She requests him to act normal without showing jealousy. Malini forces Aryan and Imlie to dance saying its a client’s request. They should not deny. Aryan dances with Imlie.
Anu in order to take revenge brings a knife and tears Imlie’s dress without her knowledge. Aditya notices Imlie’s torn dress and before he could cover it Aryan pulls Imlie closer by covering her back. Imlie gets shocked and everyone stares at them. Imlie tells him leave her and gets angry saying she never thought he will stoop this low. Aryan doesn’t listen and takes her to a room. Aditya gets disheartened. Tripathis follow them and notice what happened. Imlie gets stunned to see her torn dress and Aryan says he didn’t think about people but thought to protect her honor. Tripathis say that Aryan is really a good guy who saved Imlie’s honor. Imlie says she doesn’t have another dress, what will she wear. Aryan opens her hair and says everything is covered now.
Imlie tries to fix her dress in the kitchen and Malini taunts her character saying she again ruined her marriage function with her plotting. Imlie says her job is to do reporting only. Malini leaves saying she will now become a bride which will hurt Imlie even more.
Aryan brings a designer dress for Imlie which shocks Anu and Malini. Anu thinks its Malini’s bridal lehenga. Later she humiliates Imlie and Imlie asks Aryan why he spent so much money for her. Aryan replies its just a copy of a design. Imlie wears the outfit and gets sad seeing Aditya and Malini together. Dev refuses to attend Malini’s wedding. Aryan saves Imlie from falling and they fight as usual. Aryan takes Imlie’s phone saying it is the reason why she gets distracted. Malini gets happy that she is finally getting Aditya back.
Aparna pleads before Imlie to stop the wedding as Aditya will ruin his life after that. Imlie leaves the house. Aditya denies to marry Malini saying he should not use her when he doesn’t love her. Malini gives him a reality check saying she always blamed Imlie for his mistakes. She used to worship him and she was never confused between love and friendship. Later she lets him go saying he is not even her friend anymore. There Imlie tries to sort out her issues with Aditya for one last time but Anu locks her inside a car. Aryan deletes Aditya’s text in Imlie’s phone to protect her from him. Imlie struggles to come out of the car.
Aditya goes to temple to wait for Imlie. Imlie tries hard to get out of the car but she fails. Aryan looks for her and he gets worried. Malini has a strong gut feeling that Aditya will return back to marry her as Imlie will not meet him. Aditya arrives to marry her and there Aryan finds unconscious Imlie in car.
Aryan breaks the car window and pulls out the door using all his strength. He stops her but then frees her thinking she should take her own life decisions. Imlie goes to stop the wedding. Meanwhile Aditya takes pheras with Malini. Aditya loses all hope thinking Imlie moved on. Imlie sees Aditya filling Sindoor on Malini’s forehead. Aditya taunts her and Imlie performs the stealing shoe ritual as she became Aditya’s saali. Anu gets happy and Aparna gets disheartened thinking Aditya and Imlie will never get united now.
Anu badmouths Imlie and the latter gets upset. Aryan tells her not to cry all over again as she herself promised to be strong. Imlie bids good bye to Tripathis and Aparna tells Narmada to take care of Imlie always. Aryan tells her to cry as her work hours are over. Imlie refuses saying she has no time for grief, she will become like him who has become like a stone after experiencing pain. Imlie takes vow to not shed tears for Aditya anymore.
In future episodes Imlie will tease Aryan while cooking in the kitchen. She will say that she doesn’t want to become anyone’s responsiblity.
