Kaku is busy in engagement arrangements. Vasu makes Chinu sit, guest asks where is bride groom, Vasu says he is coming soon. Rohan, Kesar come. Kaku asks why is he here. Akshay says he invited, he comes towards Chinu and takes her hand and kisses.
Rohan and Meenu look hurt. Rohan tells Kaku he has been searching for her and asks why is she here, she says Murthy, Akshay gave her responsibility of engagement preparations. Rohan says Chinu is his, he will take her from here. Murthy calls everyone attention, he tells to on the music and calls for a dance. Meenu secretly spoils mehendi.
Akshay and Chinu dance, Rohan sees them and remembers him and Chinu discussing their wedding plans. Couples exchange and Rohan dances with Chinu, Meenu dances with Akshay. Kesar observes Meenu. Murthy tells them to off the music, dance is over and they will start mehendi ritual. He tells Vasu to bring mehendi.
Akshay tells Rohan that Chinu is his. Vasu sees mehendi spilled out and tells the same to Murthy, he scolds her. Kaku says she has mehendi, she got an extra one. She brings it to Chinu and says she won’t let any problem reach her. Priest says mother should apply first mehendi. Kaku tells Vasu to apply but Chinu holds her hand and asks her to apply.
Kaku nods and says she has right as her mother, she is asked to write Akshay name on Chinu’s hand. Akshay tells Rohan his mother is supporting them. Rohan goes away in hurt, anger. Kaku goes towards him and tries to console him. He asks why is she supporting Chinu, Akshay relation. Kaku says he will understand it when he becomes father.
Parents love kids equally, they can’t hurt one kid for sake of other kid’s happiness. Chinu chose Akshay, she can’t do anything. Rohan says Chinu is his, he will do anything to get her. He saw in her eyes, she too loves him. He asks Kaku why she isn’t seeing it. Kaku cries.
Kesar ba talks to Meenu in a room privately. She praises Meenu to be little, lovely girl. She asks Meenu if she likes Akshay. Meenu asks who is she and why is she asking like that. Kesar says it took her 2 minutes to understand, she noticed Meenu standing sadly in corner. She saw how Meenu eyes lit up while dancing with Akshay.
Meenu says there’s no use talking this. Her father knows it but he likes Akshay for Chinu and Akshay also likes Chinu. Meenu says she feels like dying seeing Akshay with another girl. Kesar asks her to die then, Meenu asks if she is mad. Kesar asks her to fake dying. Meenu agrees.
Kaku stands with food outside Rohan’s room. She goes inside and sees no one. She fears if Rohan takes any wrong step to win Chinu. Rohan secretly goes to Chinu’s house. Chinu chooses her mother’s saree to wear for marriage.
