Meet( Ashi Singh and Shagun Pandey) is the highest with 1 TVR among all other fiction shows.
In this unfortunate scenario, a cull might be on the cards. After Rishton Ka Manjha. The next show to get the axe might be Parin Multimedia helmed Iss Mod Se Jaate Nahi (0.3), which is currently lower than Manjha( 0.4) Debattama Saha led Mithai will take over the 7 pm slot from Manjha this coming Monday.
IAS aspirants love story Iss Mod, had just gone on air in December last, but it never picked up on the ratings; hence the fear of a sword looming large on its neck is real.
However, Iss Modi might not go off the air immediately, for it is risky to launch many new properties during IPL.
Sadly desi TV has been unable to come out of its family fixation. Dhadkan(Sony TV) and Iss Mod unsuccessfully tried to follow stories outside the home. Female audiences yet dont seem to be ready to warn up to stories that balance work and home.
We tried to speak to Iss Mod actor(Akshita), producer( Saurabh Tiwari) and Zee TV spokesperson, but could not get through.
Zee TV will have to go back to the drawing board to rediscover its mojo. Sony & Zee Merger does give both the channels the financial muscle to take on the market leader, Star Plus.
