By Gossips Tv : The Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards 2024 celebrated the best in Indian television with a grand event in Mumbai. The star-studded evening saw renowned celebrities like Gaurav Khanna, Rupali Ganguly, Pranali Rathod, Krushal Ahuja, Fahmaan Khan, Siddharth Nigam, Kanwar Dhillon, Neha Harsora, Harshad Chopda, Samridhii Shukla, Rohit Purohit, Gashmeer Mahajani, Sumbul Touqeer, Shivangi Joshi, Taapsee Pannu, Manisha Rani, Mallika Sherawat, Ashi Singh and more, coming together to honor excellence in the TV industry.
Harshad Chopda, known for his role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, won the Popular TV Actor award. Sharing his gratitude, he said, “I gave you a character. You all have given me the best possible story (as a person). Thank you.” His co-star, Pranali Rathod, also bagged the Popular TV Actress award, further solidifying the show’s impact.

Rupali Ganguly, the face of Anupamaa, was honored with the Iconic TV Personality of the Year award for her incredible contribution to Indian television.
Among the other highlights, Udne Ki Aasha won Best Show (Drama Series), while Amar Upadhyay was recognized as Best Actor Jury Male for his role in Doree. Nikitin Dheer received the Best Negative Actor Male for Shrimad Ramayan, and Aashif Sheikh won Best Actor Comedy for his hilarious portrayal in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain.
The awards ceremony will telecast on Star Plus on December 31, 2024, at 7 PM. Fans can also stream the full event on Disney+ Hotstar.
