The episode starts with Gauri waking up and finding herself in the shadow world. Gauri finds the place is destroyed and she feels some strange vibes. Gauri sees that the house is exactly like Vihaan’s house and she starts calling for help but she doesn’t get any reply. Gauri wakes upstairs and asks for help. Gauri hears that someone is calling her for the puja and she tries to open the gate of the house but it’s locked from inside. Gauri comes to a room and the narrator states that Gauri is locked in the shadow world. Gauri sees the other side through a mirror and Veena sees the diya is blown off. Dadi asks Sarda where Gauri is and Mahesh goes to check. Gauri starts cries for help and Vihaan remains standing in the room. Gauri hears that Rashmi tells everyone to sit in the puja without Gaur and akhand jot can’t be blown off.
Gauri can hear from the mirror and Veena listens to the cries. Gauri sees Vihaan in the mirror and she hears some creaking sound in the shadow world. Gauri hides herself in a room and she can feel someone’s presence in the house. Gauri gets frightened and she starts crying. Arjun tells Pandit ji that he should not start the puja with Gauri bhabi. Gauri calls Arjun and the other family members. Gauri sees Arjun in the mirror and she tries to call from the mirror. Mahesh tells Arjun that Vihaan is not their own and one day he can also be against them because Vihaan’s mother is a bar dancer.
Vihaan tells Arjun to behave with his parents and Vihaan tells Mahesh that he is very thankful to them for accepting him but the fact is he is a son of a bar dancer. Vihaan assures everyone that he will not forget his identity and promises to take care of the family. Gauri rushed to see Vihaan from the other mirror and they walked together but they were in a different trance. Gauri tries to call Vihaan but she stops herself and Vihaan is very upset because he has listened to lots of taunting from the family members . Vihaan starts crying and Gauri can feel his pain. Gauri feels that Vihaan is an innocent man and she also gets emotional to see Vihaan from the mirror. Gauri sees someone outside the window and Veena fails to burn the akhand jot. A voice comes to Veena’s ears that she will tell her the reason and Gauri finds the shadow vanish.
Vihaan comes to Veena’s room and Vihaan gets her phone. Veena comes to her room and she tells Kamini that she has cheated on her. Veena sees in the mirror that she is burning herself and suddenly Veena stands in a nakshatra. The doors get locked and Veena sees herself crying. Vihaan sees the mirror and he is about to touch it.
