The episode starts with Reet asking Raghav to let go of Dhruv. Raghav asks Reet to go home and says Dhruv will reach home before she does. Reet says she doesn’t trust him. Raghav asks Reet to make a call to Dhruv. Reet calls Dhruv and asks if he is alright. Dhruv says he doesn’t know these people and that they left him just now. Reet asks Dhruv to reach home. Dhruv agrees. Raghav stops Reet from leaving and asks her to take blessings from Sharda and her husband. Reet takes their blessings and asks Raghav if she can leave. Raghav says there is another ritual and asks his sister-in-law to bring the wedding Chunri. His sister-in-law brings it. Raghav places it over Reet and tells Sharda that the ritual is complete, and now they should go to Dhruv’s house to present Unnati’s wedding proposal to him. Reet later leaves from there.
Viren gets angry because he couldn’t secure Raghav’s business, as Reet agreed to marry Raghav. Poonam comes and offers sweets to Viren. Viren refuses and asks her to leave. Poonam says she knows he is upset because he couldn’t secure Raghav’s business. Poonam tells Viren to let it go. Viren comments angrily. He then tries to forcefully feed laddoos to his wife, Poonam. Reet witnesses this and pushes Viren away, asking Poonam if she is alright. Viren asks Reet how dare she interfere between him and his wife. Reet criticizes the Suryavanshi men, saying they don’t know how to respect a woman. Viren retorts, commenting that Reet begged Raghav to be this house’s daughter-in-law. He tells Reet that she may get married, but she will never gain respect in this house. Reet responds and leaves. Sharda watches everything from the balcony. Poonam asks Viren not to be angry with Reet, as she doesn’t know about their family. Viren tightly hugs Poonam.
Unnati goes to the terrace and shouts to her parents in heaven that she never misses them because Raghav grants all of her wishes. Raghav asks Unnati to come down. Unnati asks Raghav to catch her. Raghav catches Unnati.
Viren complains to Sharda that Reet was criticizing him just because he was talking to his wife. Viren tells Sharda that he is the elder son of this house but still works under Raghav. He asks Sharda if Reet will now be over him. Sharda comforts Viren and says she will talk to Raghav.
Reet comes home. Dhruv arrives and notices that Reet has the Chunri. He asks Reet what price she paid to get him released. Reet says she agreed to marry Raghav. Hearing this, Reet’s mother comments and asks how she could make such a decision without telling her. Reet says she didn’t have a choice. Reet’s mother asks what would have happened if she hadn’t agreed, implying that Reet would have died. She says it would have been better for her to die than to see her life in hell. Reet explains that she can take care of herself and tells her mother not to worry. Reet says tomorrow, Raghav’s family will come with the wedding proposal of Unnati for Dhruv. Dhruv comments on this. Reet tells Dhruv not to speak like that. Reet’s mother says she still doesn’t like this marriage and leaves.
Sharda goes to Raghav, who is swimming in the pool, and tells him that she doesn’t think Reet is worthy of becoming his wife. She asks Raghav to reconsider the idea of marrying Reet. Sharda says she won’t allow him to destroy his life for Unnati. Raghav takes Sharda and shows her how happy Unnati is as she prepares for her wedding. Raghav says that for the smile on Unnati’s face, he will do anything. He tells Sharda that Reet is only coming into this family as his guaranteed wife, nothing more. Raghav says that if Dhruv’s family doesn’t take care of Unnati, he will make Reet’s life a living hell.
