Jagannath Aur Purvi Ki Anokhi Kahani is Sony TV’s latest launch which has a unique concept. In the promo, we see Jagannath who is an old man with his punctuality and stubbornness, no one is able to change him until one day he saves a girl Purvi from dying. The show is focuses on the unique friendship of Jagannath and Purvi and how Purvi gets wise and strong from Jagannath’s infleunce while Jagannath learns to enjoy life and give stress a back seat.
In the current track, Purvi’s family is making her marry someone against her will and she loves someone else. She runs away from family to come to Babu, her boyfriend who doesn’t pick her calls. Purvi lands in his house which takes Babu by shock and he scolds Purvi. Purvi decides to die by drowning while Jagannath sees this and is shocked. Jagannath saves the girl and as it’s late night he brings her home. Kusum worries for Jagannath’s spontaneous action and bringing an unknown girl but when she talks to Purvi she feels she needs help. Kusum prepares bed for Purvi and also gives her Deepa’s clothes to wear. Babu calls Purvi and shows his concern to her, he says he is coming to meet Purvi. Just then Purvi’s cousin start chasing Babu as they think Purvi is with him.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see Jagannath will be saving Purvi by jumping into the water himself. Later, he will bring Purvi to his house and meet Kusum who will be shocked.
Will Jagannath and Kusum ever get to see their kids? Will Purvi bring in hope for the old couple? What is in store for Purvi? It will be interesting to watch.
