Jagriti 26th October 2024 Written Update On Tellyexpress.com
The episode starts with Jagriti telling Kachori that she already informed Geeta that she is a Chitta. Jagriti states that if Geeta thinks it is wrong for a Chitta to receive an education, then Geeta wouldn’t have told her about education and its importance. Jagriti asserts that no matter what, she has to find a way to get an education.
Jagriti and Kachori see a crowd and approach it, learning that Ratna is giving birth to a baby. After a while, Nanda comes out and announces that Ratna has given birth to a baby boy. The entire Chitta community is happy about the birth of a baby boy. Durjan instructs Ballu to take out the vehicle. Durjan takes the baby and leaves. Jagriti asks Nanda where Durjan is taking the baby. Nanda explains that Durjan is taking the baby to Kalikant’s house to have the baby stamped with born criminal status. Jagriti tells Harish that it’s wrong.
Durjan brings Raka’s son to Kalikant’s house. Suraj tells Durjan that he wants to see how Kalikant writes the fate of the Chitta today. Kalikant agrees and makes Suraj sit beside him. Kalikant instructs Pratap to start the ritual and allows Suraj to witness how he determines the fate of the Chitta people. Jagriti pleads with Kalikant to stop. Durjan questions why she has come here. Jagriti responds that she came to prevent Raka’s son from being labeled a born criminal. She insists it is wrong for someone to be called a criminal without having done anything wrong. Durjan orders Jagriti to stop speaking against Kalikant and to bow her head and apologize. Jagriti refuses. Kalikant decides to teach Jagriti a lesson. Durjan tells Kalikant not to mind her behavior and suggests they show Jagriti the ritual of a Chitta becoming a born criminal so she will understand that Kalikant is their God. Kalikant agrees.
Jagriti begs Durjan not to make Raka’s son a born criminal, but he ignores her pleas. Durjan gives Raka’s son’s fingerprints to the police inspector and performs the ritual, marking the child as a born criminal. Kalikant presents the document, claiming it as proof that the Chitta are fated to be born criminals. Jagriti tells Kalikant that fate can also be changed. She wipes the ink from Raka’s son’s hand onto her dress. Furious, Kalikant fires a gun at Jagriti, but Ganga diverts the gun and saves her.
Kalikant slaps Ganga and criticizes her for opposing him. Akash witnesses this from afar. Kalikant’s mother stops him, saying that Ganga did the right thing by intervening. Kalikant asks his mother what she means. She reminds him that the Chitta people worship him as a God because he has never allowed their women to be disrespected or their children to be sold as slaves. Kalikant’s mother warns him that if he shoots Jagriti today, he will no longer be seen as a God in the eyes of the Chitta. She urges him to find a way to deal with Jagriti without violence. Kalikant agrees.
Durjan gives the baby to Ratna, stating that this baby must become a Chitta and that he doesn’t want another rebel in the Chitta community. Jagriti insists that she did what she believed was right. Durjan tells her to be quiet. Ballu comments that Durjan wanted to make Jagriti the chief of the Chitta community. He urges Durjan to appoint Jagriti as chief immediately. Durjan responds that whether Jagriti becomes chief or not, he will never become chief himself because he isn’t good enough. He later warns Harish that if the Chitta community suffers because of Jagriti, it will not end well for her. Durjan pushes Harish’s chair away.
At home, Jagriti asks Harish what wrong she did, as he taught her to stand up for what is right. Bindi intervenes, raising her hand at Jagriti for opposing Kalikant but ultimately does not hit her. Jagriti recalls Kachori’s warning that once Bindi becomes a stepmother, she will be cruel to her.
Ganga reflects on the events. Akash approaches her and expresses his hatred for Kalikant for raising his hand against Ganga. She reminds him that Kalikant is his father. Akash questions why Kalikant would make a baby a born criminal and why none of the Chitta people do anything about it. Ganga explains that if a lie is repeated a thousand times, it becomes the truth, and this lie has been told for years, which is why the Chitta have accepted that being born a criminal is their fate. Akash agrees with Jagriti’s actions. Ganga adds her own thoughts.
The episode ends.
