Jhanak and Advocate Anjali Awasthi confirmed to go off-air later this month

By Gossips TV : Star Plus’ Jhanak and courtroom drama Advocate Anjali Awasthi are officially heading towards their conclusion later this month. According to information accessed by Gossips TV, both shows are currently in the final phase of production and are expected to air their last episodes by the end of May.

Jhanak, currently starring Rajveer Singh and Riya Sharma, is reportedly set to wrap filming around May 25, with May 30 being considered the likely off-air date. The show, which once enjoyed a strong run on the TRP charts, witnessed a significant dip in ratings over the past few months. Sources state that the declining numbers eventually led to the channel taking the decision to conclude the show.

The series initially began with Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja leading the first generation and quickly emerged among Star Plus’ strongest performers. Over time, however, the show struggled to maintain the same momentum with viewers, with recent ratings reportedly falling close to the 0.6 mark.

Meanwhile, Advocate Anjali Awasthi, starring Shritama Mitra in the lead role, is also preparing to bid farewell. Sources suggest the show is likely to complete its shoot by May 22, while the final episode is expected to air on May 31.

An official confirmation from the channel and production houses is still awaited. However, with both productions nearing their scheduled wrap-up dates, the two shows are almost certain to conclude their television journey by the end of this month.
