Star Plus TV brand new show Jhanak will focus on the amalgamation of culture. This serial tries to capture two different states, Kashmir and Kolkata, at the same time. Jhanak, a kashmiri girl will meet with a Bengali boy Anirudh. When Anirudh is blessed from every corner of the life, then Jhanak has been struggling from her birth.
In the current episode, Urvashi doesn’t want Jhanak to go in the festival, but Anirudh pleas her to have the permission. Urbashi finally gives her the permission to go with Anirudh but forbids her to enter in the auditorium. Reaching the spot, Anirudh asks her to go into auditorium as Arshi asked Jhanak to perform in the festival. She fears to join the festival but Anirudh stands beside her. He also motivates her to proves herself as she is genuinely talented.
The performance of Arshi makes everyone excited and joyous. Jhanak agrees to perform in the same competition abd comes on the stage. Bharat and Sristi become so irritated that they decide to oust Urvashi from the house.
In the next episode, the performance will make everyone happy and surprised and she will get the first prize of the competition. But Sristi will manipulate the judge Brijbhushan to disqualify Jhanak from the competition. Sristi will give the description of Jhanak as a illegal daughter of Urvashi which makes Brijbhushan suprised. Later, Anirudh will express his wish to invite Jhanak in the cultural centre, but Arshi will decline his wish and will want to close the chapter of Jhanak.
