By Gossips Tv : The hit television show Jhanak, starring Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja, is undergoing a significant transformation with a dramatic 20-year leap that introduces a fresh narrative and new cast. However, the bold shift has sparked widespread discussion and backlash from fans, particularly regarding the departure of the original leads. Responding to the criticism, producer Saibal Banerjee has answered.
Banerjee clarified that Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja did not “quit” the show, but rather, their storyline had simply reached its natural conclusion. “That story has ended. Now the focus is on the journey of 20-year-olds,” he stated, emphasizing that the shift was a creative decision, not a fallout. “No one has quit. It was a conscious decision to transition from one story to another.”
Addressing the online trolling and negativity : “Everyone today is a broadcaster. You don’t need a degree or special talent to write anything anymore,” he said, highlighting how digital platforms have turned every smartphone user into a content creator. He urged viewers to consume social media mindfully: “Watch, read, and listen—but always with a filter.”
As Jhanak enters this bold new chapter, the makers are hopeful that the audience will embrace the fresh storyline and characters while appreciating the journey the previous ones took them on.
